LYME TOWN OFFICES BUILDING COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 15, 2008
Members Present: Frank Bowles, Simon Carr, Don Metz, Jay Smith, Mike Woodard, Judy Brotman
The meeting was officially opened at 8 am by Co-Chair Frank Bowles.
1 The minutes of April 8, 2008 were approved.
1. The committee reviewed and approved the revised Police Department office layout.
2. Don and Frank reported on their discussions with the Police Department concerning the department’s space and layout requirements.
3. The Request For Proposals (RFPs) were sent out on Friday, April 11th. Return date is April 25th. Interviews will be scheduled for April 29th and April 30th. Don will schedule the interviews.
4. Don reported that the pledge checks are arriving steadily.
5. The committee discussed the Lyme Foundation grant letter. Mike will revise his draft and email to the committee.
6. The demolition of the Lyme Road Co-Op site may provide a usable oil tank for the project. Frank will call the Co-Op to inquire about it’s availability.
7. Simon reported that the permit for Ray Clark’s Recreate Shop should be issued this week.
8. Simon reported that NHDOT has expressed an interest in cooperating in the relocation of the Route 10 and High Street intersection. This will be followed-up as time allows.
9. The committee discussed possible driveway relocations and the possible relocation of the existing garage.
10. The committee will resolve the Town Clerk’s allocated space next. The Board of Selectmen’s space will be resolved following the Town Clerk’s space resolution.
11. “Set-up” quote to be solicited.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40am.
